- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I considered lasik surgery following long term contact lens use. My optometrist suggested that I first consult with Dr. Anderson about refractive lens exchange , given my age and my history of outside activites, which could lead ultimately to the development of cataracts.
